Atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis is usually defined as hardening and narrowing of the arteries due to build-up of plaque it silently and slowly blocks arteries, putting blood flow at risk.

 

It causes heart attacks, strokes, and peripheral vascular diseases which together are called cardiovascular disease.
