Material Science in Construction and architecture

Material Science has a significant role in civil engineering and Construction science. Behind the properties and behaviour of constructions, it studies most of the fundamental materials like metals, polymers, timber, cement and concrete, bricks and blocks, glass and plaster. Latest research with the application of thermodynamics, kinetics, micromechanics, computer-assisted visualization tools, and an appreciation of construction processes to solve problems have been carried out.
