Joul Kassis was born in Damascus, Syria. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Damascus University. And then he completed his Master's Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/ Faculty of Dentistry, Damascus University. He was the Head of Residents at the department of OMFS and a supervisor for four years on the undergraduate Dental school students. He is a Member of the Syrian Dental Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons since 2015. Currently, he is a Member of the Australian Dental Association, New South Wales Branch, Sydney, Australia.
