ABOUT CONFERENCE

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive disease that is triggered mainly because of tobacco smoking and long-term exposure to irritating chemical gases, pollution, and particulate matter.

Moreover, about 1% of people may develop COPD from a genetic disorder that causes low levels of a protein called alpha-1-antitrypsin (AAt). AAt is made in the liver and secreted into the bloodstream to help protect the lungs. Alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency can cause liver disease, lung disease, or both.

Our aim is to bring forward and highlight the advancements in the diagnosis and management of COPD during the current era. We invite the health care professionals, Researchers, and patient groups to integrate, discuss and share knowledge about COPD.
